My husband has been on the best biscuit-making journey to find the best biscuit. He makes biscuits almost every night trying to find the best biscuit recipe. We’ve tried so many biscuit recipes and I still don’t know which one is my favorite yet. But I do know we have gone all in on the tools he needs to make his perfect biscuit.
Here is what we have found so far:
This sifter is a 5 cup sifter that has two sifting screens that it goes through. It combines all the dry ingredients and you have a light and airy mixture that helps with the over all texture of the biscuit.
These 12 round biscuit cutters help you get the perfect shape and size for what ever size biscuit you are looking to make. Whether it is for biscuits and gravy, biscuits for strawberries, or a breakfast sandwich.
OXO Bowls are one of the best mixing bowls I have found. They are durable and are really easy to clean up. They nestle really nicely when not in use. They have rubber non slip bottoms and pouring spout.
OXO Measuring cups are freaking amazing. You can actually pour liquids in and see from the top how much you are pouring in. I absolutely love them as it makes it so much easier to measure your liquid ingredients. Also there are three of them and they sit nicely inside one another.
These measuring cups and spoon set are another game changer. The measuring spoons are double sided one for liquid and one for dry ingredients. But the dry side are oval in shape and they fit into the spice bottles nicely so you don’t have to try and dump the ingredients into them. But even better they are magnetic so you don’t loose them in the drawer.
Now we don’t have much room in our kitchen and counter space is not existent so we use our kitchen table and if you know anything about kitchen tables that you can add a leaf to they have seams. And cleaning flour out of them can be a chore and a half. But this mat makes the clean up so much easier. You can roll out the dough and have flour all over it and it doesn’t get all over your table. And clean-up is a cinch. Just rinse off or even put it in the dishwasher. You can even use it on your baking sheet as it can be used in the oven up to 480 degrees.
